Sand Bar

Southern Missouri has a lot of  small river  and large creeks, The Big Piney, Niangua, Jack's Fork, North Fork, and the Eleven Point River are some of the most popular floats  Drive a couple of hours, pitch a tent on Friday night get up early in the morning, board a school buss  and ride 11 to 14 miles up the river and put in a canoe and float the river all day. Pack your snacks, food and beverages and enjoy the river landscape. Normally around noon people stop to eat lunch by finding a sand bar to rest at,  move about, play in the water and take time to enjoy the scenery and drink some beer. This is a spot on the Jack's Fork to take such a break.
